I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduated out of Northeastern University in Boston in 2014. I currently practice Home Health PT with patients that range from 30-101 years old. I have also been a certified Indoor Cycling Instructor for 5 years. I enjoy hiking, biking and anything else that allows me to soak up the San Diego sun. I love the personal connections that StretchLab allows me to develop while keeping clients optimized to perform at their best.
I am a certified Massage & Bodywork Therapist for the past 5 years. I am also a NASM Personal Trainer & Youth soccer Coach. I love all things outdoors! I have been a Personal Trainer for athletes on the track and in the weight room for 10 years. I am also a Yoga and fitness class instructor. I played college football at Dartmouth. I am a Decathlete, and a hopeful for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games for Javelin. I really enjoy anything where I get to be active! I am an adventurer at heart, so I love hiking and exploring new trails and areas. I love StretchLab because it gets straight to the heart of helping people improve their bodies and move better. It allows me to work 1-on-1 with people in a pure form and therefore allowing them to better express themselves through movement.
I have 8 years of experience as an Exercise Specialist after earning a degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University, where I played football. I am also a NASM Personal Trainer, Cardio Boxing Instructor, Sports Performance Coach and a Flag Football Youth Coach. In my spare time I enjoy Muay Thai Kickboxing, bouldering and cross-training. I have been a NASM personal trainer for the past 5 years. I studied Exercise Science at Rutgers University where I was a walk on for the football team. I have also been youth sports coach for the past 3 years. I enjoy playing guitar and creating music along with recreational fitness, Muay Thai, flag football and basketball. I enjoy helping my clients manage pain and increase their range of motion, leading to a happy and healthier lifestyle.
I am truly passionate about helping others live a pain free life. I have been an ACE personal trainer for the last 4 years with an emphasis in corrective exercise and functional movement. I trained at the CHEK Institute as a Holistic Exercise Practitioner, Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Personal Trainer, Vibration Therapist, and Physical Meditation Coach. Through my Holistic coaching, which I have been practicing for 5 years, I work on the 3 aspects of mind, body and spirit - whereas for physical coaching my focus is directed at strength, balance and agility techniques. I graduated from Penn State with an Athletic Training degree. I have over 2 years of experience in preventing and treating injuries with Professional/Semiprofessional athletes & High School athletes. I love soaking up the sun and taking advantage of the beautiful San Diego weather. You can find me either on a long hike or surfing at the beach. I recently graduated from Point Loma Nazarene in 2017 with a B.S in Applied Health Science. I’m currently earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, and have two years of experience working in outpatient orthopedics. I’m also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I love StretchLab because it allows me to really focus on my clients, and personalize a plan to achieve maximal flexibility/fitness goals.
I have been teaching yoga to students of all ages and abilities for 7 years. I hold professional teacher certifications in hatha yoga, therapeutic yoga, and a license in special education. I am currently pursuing a professional yoga therapist certification at the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy. I love to be in nature and spend my time on the beach and hiking. For the past 14 years I have been a NASM Personal Trainer in San Diego, with an emphasis on Corrective Exercise and Functional Movement. I received a BS in Kinesiology at San Diego State with an associate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant & earned the NASM Certified Senior Fitness Specialist. In my spare time I like to hike and snowboard the beautiful Sierra Nevada Range; my true passion is surfing and paddleboarding. I have been a Yoga Instructor for the past 3 years, with qualifications in Hot Power Fusion and Yoga Sculpt Training, as well as being trained in Hatha Yoga at Om Shanti Om school in Rishikesh, India. Manual adjustments through Yoga has always been a strength & pleasure of mine; I enjoy growing through that aspect of the instruction. Staying active is a huge priority for me - I enjoy trying out new fitness classes and taking on new physical challenges, a big reason why I’ve newly moved to San Diego from Chicago. I love StretchLab because it allows me to connect with my clients personally, and help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
I have 15 years of professional dance experience under my belt; I have reached Grade 6 in Cecchetti Ballet and have the pleasure of being a certified Yoga & Dance Instructor. I have multiple Personal Training certifications from the US & Canada and have been training athletes for the past 6 years, mainly through corrective exercise and resistance training. In addition, I specialize in a recovery method called ELDOA, which decompresses the spine length and width wise. I love playing all sports, but my heart is mostly with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and in 2015 I became Middleweight Pan-American Champion. Helping people find potential in their bodies, and improving their relationship with it has always been a passion of mine. I love StretchLab because it allows me to work 1-on-1 with people, helping them improve the way their bodies move; facilitating, finding new freedom in their movement. Having people get up off my bench feeling relief of pain and better acquainted with their bodies makes this job so gratifying.
